Skateboarding

The sport of skateboarding has an interesting history. In the early 1900’s scooters became a popular past time. Over the next couple of decades, these early predecessors eventually evolved into the high-tech boards that we know today. We've assembled information on famous teams, the history of the sport, and great skateboarding resources. Enjoy!

Although the material on this site can seem rather skeletal at times, it’s easy to scan and it covers a fair amount of information. There are skateboard parks listed for the United States and about 15 international locations.
