Another Food Pyramid
After years of the traditional food pyramid gracing the walls of every classroom in the country, the USDA has now decided that the pyramids should be customized to fit a persons age, sex, and activity level. Learn what they say you should now be eating, and find your personalized food pyramid.
Discussion Questions
Does this new personalized version of the food pyramid seem like it will be better than the old one size fits all pyramid?
Take a look at your personalized pyramid. Are you eating close to the proper amounts of foods, or do you need to rebalance your diet?
Are age, sex, and activity level the only criteria you think they should use to design the pyramid, or is there some other factor that should be taken into account?
