The Phantom Torso Returns
By NASA
May 27, 2009, 13:26 PST

Summary: Matroshka is an armless, legless, human-shaped torso, a mannequin that looks like he's wrapped in a mummy's bandages. Looking like an escapee from a contemporary art show, this mannequin is actually an intrepid space traveler, who just spent four months on the International Space Station, helping scientists to learn about space radiation.
